Averaging 7.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in 18.8 minutes this season, Deyonta Davis has become a mainstay in Tom Izzo’s starting lineup. The 6-foot-11 power forward has had huge moments to help the Spartans toward another potential March run.
Deyonta Davis comes from Muskegon, Mich. where he played basketball at Muskegon High. Davis was a four-star recruit and earned the 35th Hal Schram Mr. Basketball award in 2015.
Projected to go in the first round of the NBA draft, Davis is a dominant threat inside the paint. With his long length and height, Davis has the athleticism and potential to succeed at the next level.
